CheerApp is a great theme most suited for software developers; it’s design and functionality were created especially for showcasing apps, but it will do a great job of standalone bbPress forum too. CheerApp offers huge number of features that will help developers promote and support their apps.

Knowledgebase, live search, support forum based on bbPress, FAQs, pricing tables, slider with video support – everything packed into nice, modern and functional design with unlimited color options.

In addition to all these features CheerApp offers full bbPress (plugin) forums support, additionally with some custom extended functionality for marking posts with statuses, like ‘resolved’, ‘not resolved’, ‘general question’ or announcements.

November 5, 2012: theme updated to version 1.1. It is now fully responsive. See the changelog below for more info.

• Added: Responsive layout with two fixed widths 940px (desktop) and 724px (tablet in portrait mode) and a fluid width for screen sizes below 768px (smartphones).
• Added: HiDPI (‘Retina’) displays support.
• Added: Sidebar will now appear on all forum pages.
• Fixed / Changed: Several translation strings were changed. Some untranslatable strings can now be translated.
• Fixed: Fixed an issue where user role on forum user profile page was displaying incorrectly or wasn’t displayed at all.

• Removed: Homepage slider – revealing videos after clicking on an image or embedding videos directly into the slider is no longer possible. It’s still possible to show videos in lightbox after clicking on slide image.
